20140706: Greater Copenhagen; Denmark [Day 5]

Day 5. The Travelling Pixie in Greater Copenhagen.

Kronberg Castle.

Also known as Hamlet’s Castle, Kronberg Castle was the setting for Shakespeare’s Hamlet.  It is within walking distance from the train station Helsingor.  From Kobenhavn H (Copenhagen Central Station), take the C-line to Klampenborg Station and change lines to arrive at Helsingor.

The scenery from Kronberg Castle was spectacular, and we could even see Sweden from there.

Maritime Museum.

The Maritime Museum is located right next to the Kronberg Castle.  A brilliant museum definitely worth visiting, such a pity we did not have enough time to slowly go through the exhibition.

Louisiana Art Museum.

The Louisiana Art Museum is famous for not only its display of modern art, but also how the museum is structured, a fusion between modern art pieces and gardens.

Frederiksborg Castle.

As we arrived Frederiksborg Castle too late in the evening, we were unable to enter the castle.  But the scenery we arrived to was absolutely breathtaking.
