Day 2. The Travelling Pixie in Odense.
Hans Christian Andersen Museum. (90 Kr)
The Hans Christian Andersen Museum was BRILLIANT! It was very informational and covered all aspects between H.C.Andersen’s birth, to his death.
BRANDTS Museum. (FREE Entry after 5pm on Thursday!)
The BRANDTS Museum held the Media Museum on its 3/F; Art Gallery on the 2/F; and the TATTOO Exhibition on 1/F.
Dinner @ Den Gamle Kro (The Old Den) : Traditional Danish Cuisine. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!)
We ordered 12 Escargots, a Prawn Cocktail salad and a Duck Breast served with Truffle sauce, mushrooms and potatoes for 667 Kr. Not a very cheap meal, but it was definitely worth it! We were recommended by the Odense Information Centre to try this restaurant as it is very famous both locally and high popular among tourists. The duck breast with truffle sauce was AMAZING! I just couldn’t get enough of it.
