Shangri La’s Rasa Ria Resort- Chi Spa

Having been to Kota Kinabalu for the third time, I am rather familiar with the facilities that nearly all the resorts offer, Spa. There are 2 Shangri La resorts in Kota Kinabalu, the Tanjung Aru resort, which I have had the pleasure of staying at twice already, and the Rasa Ria resort, which is located further away from the city center, and also where I’m staying with my parents this time. Being Spa addicts, my dad has booked the three of us into a 2.5 hour slot in the afternoon. Different to the Tanjung Aru resort, the Chi Spa in the Rasa Ria resort is not segregated in detached bamboo huts, instead, all rooms are situated under one wing.

Having chosen the Chi Journey: Heaven and Earth plus the Camomile Body Scrub, I got a very large room, with a single massage table and a huge shower. My parents got a couple room, also with a huge shower, and hence we all embarked on our Chi Journey to relaxation and serenity.
