This year’s award winner is Chef/Owner of TATE Dining Room & Bar, Vicky Lau. Vicky is a true innovator who breaks the conventional rules of food to create a platform for artistic expression. Her ‘edible stories’ are a true page-turner, captivating diners with their rich imagery and intriguing play on flavours and textures. Taking the audacious first step to pursue her passion for the culinary arts, Vicky left a career in graphic design to enrol in classes at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu in Bangkok. Honing her stills at the Michelin-starred Cépage in Hong Kong, Vicky is a true trailblazer who has changed the landscape of her industry by daring to do things differently.
